<p>We are very fortunate to live in Vancouver and that the temperate climate allows us to run outdoor group training classes pretty much all year long. We can take advantage of the beaches, mountain trails and pristine beauty of our natural surroundings to give clients an ultimate outdoor experience.</p>
<p>During this workshop you will learn how to create, design and deliver a group training class for 10-15 people. In addition we will cover important safety considerations for being outside, permits, insurance and how to get your group classes started.</p>
<p>This session is rain or shine so come prepared. You will be working out for the first 45 minutes to get the experience and the remainder of the time will be spent on covering the aspects mentioned above.</p>

<p>During your 40 hour training program you will learn the fundamentals of teaching a group fitness class and how to become an exceptional instructor. We have the most unique program offered in the fitness industry because it combines elements of performance, musciality, leadership, motivation and psychology with the goal of creating the ultimate group fitness experience for your participants.</p>
<p>You will learn the skills necessary and leave this program ready and inspired to teach a group fitness class with confidence.</p>
<p>What you will learn during your program.</p>

<li>Pre-class preparation and setting the stage for success</li>
<li>Program design utilizing principles of adherence and motivation</li>
<li>Cueing techniques to keep everyone on the &#8220;right&#8221; foot</li>
<li>How to use a mic and save your voice</li>
<li>Get the part started &#8211; participant monitoring and evaluation</li>
<li>How to choose the right music that creates the mood, tone, atmosphere and experience for participants</li>
</ul>

<p>We have expanded our popular indoor cycling instructor training.  It will now be run over two afternoons for a total of 8 hours of instruction.   In this introductory workshop you will put the pedal to the metal and learn to teach an indoor cycling class.  You will learn proper bike set-up, bike postures, cadence, lesson planning, music selection to enhance motivation, common cycling injuries and what to wear to look good while remaining functional.</p>
<p>By the end of the workshop you will be qualified to teach indoor spinning classes.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">When: Saturday, <strong>September 22 </strong>&amp; Sunday <strong>September 23</strong>, 2012</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Time: 12:15-5:15pm (you won&#8217;t be riding the whole time)</p>
